Hello fit family! It is that time of year… The time of year of egg nog, pumpkin spice and all the wonderful flavors of fall! It’s so hard to eat healthy this time of year because of all the yummy things that get thrown in your face! I know I am a victim of anything pumpkin as it is one of my favorite flavors of the year. You don’t have to avoid these flavors though to maintain your health or your diet. There are ways to make yummy foods healthy! So I figured I would kick this fall off with one of my favorite recipes ever! It’s my homemade Pumpkin Chili Recipe! If you love pumpkin and you love chili you will absolutely die for this turkey pumpkin chili. So here it is! Make up a big pot of it and feed it to all of your loved ones and comment below. Turkey Pumpkin Chili

Turkey Pumpkin Chili

TURKEY PUMPKIN CHILI

  • 3 pounds ground turkey breast
  • one medium onion chopped
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • two cans condensed tomato soup
  • two bottles (12oz) chili sauce
  • two cans chili beans
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

In a large skillet cook ground turkey breast and onion over medium heat. Once cooked put in a pot. Add remaining ingredients and stir to mix well. Add water if desired to reduce thickness. Bring to a slight boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for one hour.

Yield 11 cups/servings
